This course will cover the advanced functions of the Garmin 400/500 series GPS units, especially those related to arrivals approaches and departures.
Successfully completing this course will take your Garmin knowledge to the next level and more than adequately prepare you for using the advanced features of the Garmin 400/500 series GPS unit for pilot navigation purposes.

This advanced course will assume that you are already knowledgeable with the primary functions of the Garmin 400/500 series GPS units. If you’re not familiar with the simple options, you can check out our Garmin 430W – Basic Operations course.
Garmin 430W Simulator: All students who sign up for this course will be sent instructions on how to download and install the Garmin 430W Trainer in order to operate the simulator as the course takes place.
