Will I get a letter of recommendation to write my exam at Transport Canada?

Yes. Hangaaar's Private Pilot Online Ground School meets the requirements as set by Transport Canada. Complete the course and you'll get a letter of recommendation from Hangaaar to write your Private Pilot exam.

Is it difficult to get the knowledge portion of the Private Pilot Ground School online?

Some pilots are unable to attend classes twice a week for 10 - 12 weeks and find it easier to be able to review the course online. Our recommendation is always to do both classroom AND online ground school if possible.

Am I left alone to learn all this material by myself for the online ground school?

We offer what we call "the online broadcast" where you can login and watch a live class periodically. It's a great way to learn and ask any specific questions as you study.

As you study on your own schedule with our courses, we'll reach out to you to invite you to attend what we call "the Online Broadcast."
